Downtown Los Angeles
The central point, the downtown area is always considered to be the heart of a city, and the city of angels has a big heart! There's an abundance of activities here. Operating since 1981, the California African American Museum includes 3 full sized exhibition galleries, a theater gallery and a 14,000 sq ft sculpture court all to enhance public knowledge of African American contributions to society. Downtown is also home to the city's baseball team in Dodger Stadium which is always a fun place to visit during baseball season. Home to attractions like the Japanese American Cultural and Community Center and the Japanese American National Museum, the Japanese Village Plaza is a beautiful shopping mall with a Japanese motif that attracts many tourists with its specialty shops, restaurants and of course mochi ice cream! The Fashion District is a must see for anyone that is either into fashion or is doing some tourist shopping , in addition to being 90 blocks long, this is the Mecca of the fashion industry in the west coast. If the comforts of a high end mall with all the trimmings appeals more to you, it can be found at Macy's plaza.

Hollywood
The city where all the dreams of stardom come together! Sunset Blvd
The Sunset strip is known for having as many landmarks as its adjacent Hollywood blvd. There are many things to do on its 20 miles of sight seeing like visiting KTLA studios where some of your favorite t.v. shows are taped daily. Travel west on sunset and you will find two very famous nightclubs turned landmarks. The first is known as the Whiskey, one of LA's most energetic rock scenes. The other is the famous Roxy, where there's a band performing almost every night of the week. You can find a diversity of big name stores as well like Guitar Center, which has its own walk of fame with some very famous musicians, and the Virgin Megastore, a staple of world wide pop culture.

Beaches
Some of the most beautiful sights in the city are the beaches, and that's because they are so much more than an ordinary sun bather's paradise. Venice Beach, for example is an out of this world place full of extraordinary people, performers, artists, and surfers.
